Lore ("we", "us", or "our") is a private personal journal and emotional companion app developed by GX Devs. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Lore and how your privacy is protected.

Your private thoughts, voice recordings, and emotional reflections belong solely to you. Lore is designed around an on-device architecture: we do not upload, collect, or sell your journal entries or personal data.

S	100% On-Device Data & AI Processing

All core journaling features in Lore operate entirely offline and locally on your device. No text, audio, or sentiment data is ever transmitted to remote servers.

› Journal Text & Audio Recordings — Stored exclusively in local encrypted database storage on your device.

› On-Device Emotion & Sentiment AI — Sentiment scoring and language processing happen on-device without cloud API dependencies.

› Companion Evolution & Relics — Companion growth, stage unlocks, and achievements are saved locally.

› Offline Capability — You can use all core journaling and companion evolution features in Airplane Mode.

T	Third-Party Services & Billing

Lore integrates standard Google Play services for optional in-app purchases and authentication. These services operate under Google's Privacy Policy.

Lore contains no third-party advertising SDKs or tracking networks.

P	App Permissions

Lore requests only the following permissions to enable user-initiated features:

› RECORD_AUDIO — Required only when you record a voice journal entry. Audio is processed and saved locally on your device.

› USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT — Enables hardware biometric lock to secure your sanctuary.

› POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Used to send local scheduled reminders for daily reflection.

› BILLING — Enables Google Play in-app purchases for Lore Premium.

› READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / CAMERA — Required only when attaching custom photos to your journal entries.

L	App Lock & Privacy Controls

› Biometric & PIN Security — Lock Lore with a custom PIN or device biometrics.

› Decoy PIN Vault — Enter a alternate PIN to present a clean decoy workspace if compelled to open the app.

› Screenshot Blackout — Prevents screen capture and obscures recent app switcher previews.

X	Account & Data Deletion Instructions

You have full control over your data. To request the deletion of your account or associated authentication data, follow these simple steps:

1. Local Data & Journals: Uninstalling Lore immediately deletes all local journal entries, audio recordings, settings, and companion progress from your device.

2. Account Deletion Request: Send an email to gxdevsstudio@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered account email. All associated records will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.

C	Children's Privacy

Lore is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data created within the app remains exclusively on the local device.

U	Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
